National Level Student Technical Symposium with the Title “SPYDER” will be conducted in the Information Technology department every year to encourage the UG and PG students to come up with technical ideas. The Symposium will feature a mix of technical and non - technical events. We seek to bring together practitioners to consider the latest thinking in our sector and to hear from those who are applying and researching the latest thinking in technical services.

The Department of Information Technology was established in 2007 with a vision to advance, evolve and enhance the students to meet the current needs of the industry. The department prepares over 170 graduates every year to become leaders in academics, Industry and government. It also offers internship training programmes and assists the project work by which students would get the opportunities to develop their programming skills and gain exposure to the work in the industrial environment. The department is also well supported by the service of the vibrant Placement centre and the alumni of IT placed in leading companies like Infosys, Wipro, CTS, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, HCL, Bosch, etc. The department has produced quality professionals holding key positions in the IT industry in India and abroad and bring laurels to the Institution.

Our esteemed Trustee of Hindusthan Educational Institutions, Smt. T.R.K. Sarasuwathi Khannaiyann, graciously recognized and honored the remarkable achievements of our talented students in website development, which was developed in January 2024. Their dedication, innovation, and outstanding performance were celebrated, showcasing their exemplary skills and setting new benchmarks in the field of web development. The event website, along with online registration and e-certificate generation, was also developed as part of this initiative. Congratulations to these brilliant minds!
